You've got this all backwards. AMD is going to play ping-pong with their Dresden fabs. All low-cost, volume production will be from Chartered. Once Fab 36 is up and running, Fab 30 becomes the site for new development. Then, when Fab 30 is doing 45 or 35 nm., Fab 36 will be redeveloped. All excess production will come from Chartered (or some other merchant). Ping-pong.
