As a best practice (because it allows us to app-agnostic and take advantage of the large existing install base of scanning apps out there) all ShareSquare QR codes are "direct".
@the other dude who replied, doing anything in tech right now would be "dangerous waters" by this definition. I hold a patent for something unrelated to this biz, so I've been through the process, and the point I made about the patent system being broke concerns the way in which patent applications are being rubber-stamped - thereby putting the burden of defensibility on litigation.
