EPIC enters into master distribution agreement with MIT

DatamonitorEPIC Corporation, a health care software company, has entered into a master distribution agreement with Micro Imaging Technology, Inc., or MIT.

The Company has formed EPIC Healthcare, Ltd., a single member limited liability company, and is to be the Master Distribution company for the MIT products.

"Under the distribution agreement, we are preparing a program to license MIT's hardware and software libraries for detecting over 20 different types of bacterium," said Ronald Tucker, CEO of EPIC. "We believe that within the next year we will sell close to 30 licenses generating approximately $900,000 in one time license fees. In addition, we will receive a monthly maintenance fee, and a fee per test."
