tpbbls -- I'm not sure they're yet sure the earth isn't flat
(and just so I don't get called on even implicitly conflating weather and climate, allow me to [again] note that this heat event is 'just' weather -- and for that matter, as such not [yet or likely to end up] as bad as 1980 -- in 1980 we had 69 days 100+, 28 days 105+ and 5 days 110+, including the all-time record of 113 twice; so far this year we've had 47 days 100+, 11 days 105+ and one day right at 110 [the one surviving graphic at http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/replies.aspx?msg=65844872 , including today's high of 104] -- what is worse this year is the drought, at this point statewide the worst year ever, as per my earlier http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=66069418 -- all not inconsistent with global warming of course; but not the same as or necessarily the result of either)
