I do not agree with your statement that a "real" investor would need to see financials before investing in a company. If I recall, this is the type of moment that has made people like warren buffett the people they are today. They do their DD behind the scenes and then wait for the moment of truth. IMO If there really is a China connection we will all know soon enough. IMO
