Chat Session Review

Thanks to everyone who attended. It was another good turnout.

Some items discussed, including info received from Chip Gallent earlier in the day:

Service
Everyone seemed to be happy with the service times, 2-3 days for most. A few not so happy.

New Releases
It has been mentioned that new titles are not available. Not true according to Chip. They order 60 days in advance for all new releases from Ingram. Maybe they don't have enough for everyone, but they certainly get them. It's a balancing act trying to order enough while avoiding too many.

Financial Deal
Nothing new there, just waiting. Chip is tight-lipped on this, as well as many other topics. Quite the opposite of JF.

Dilution
Our RB pal, xesalia (who was mostly well-behaved), continued to bring up dilution. Better than debt, some said. Perhaps no more for a while if GG deal is OK'd.

Gold-leader
Even basher xessy was perplexed as to why some longs were bashing him regarding his personal efforts to spread the word/bring in subs.

The "We Want You Back" email campaign
Of course Chip wasn't gonna give any numbers, but he did say he was "ecstatic" by the results so far.

That stinkin' Yahoo chat room
Everyone was kicked out of the room at least once during the session. And the private message feature doesn't work. And you can't save any of the discussions as no cut and past allowed. I'll try to find a different room for us next time.
