Wow !! Gold now @ $1685/ounce because of jittery S&P's downgrading of the U.S. triple A status to AA. I'de be surprised if it doesnt reach $1700/ounce or more by opening bell. This might make last thursday's 500pt drop look like peanuts. If one of the other big rating agency follows suit, FUGGETTABOUT IT !!! $2000/ounce in the bat of an eye.
