I think we are becoming extinct.

It would be nice for the GF members to show up here and discuss why that is.

Problem is as I see it many know unlike the days when you could question Matt and if you didn't agree with him you'd still have a good respectful conversation I rarely see that happening anymore.

We were all part of bringing hundreds and hundreds of people here.

The GF members made this place the community part of it what it is today.

If not for us this site never would have grown to the level it could be sold to current owners.

I think it would benefit current owners, management to realize how important the history is of this place is.

If I treated people in my business the way I others GFM's been treated here they'd be out of business long ago.

Matt had rules but he also had discernment realizing not every rule fits every conversation here.

When posts deleted because admin doesn't understand past history of company or players involved nor do they go back in the thread to understand what was posted was necessary the deletion takes away from everything that was good about the hub.

Another example is private boards.

Matt allowed a PRIVATE BOARD to be just that as it was intended.

If you went to it and didn't appreciate their politics, swearing, what ever it was that offended you then you had a choice.
You could stay there and post within the guidelines of that board or leave. This political correctness crap has entered even the private boards now.

It was because of perfect timing on Matt's part creating this place along with the GF members input as well as bringing people here which allowed what is called branding in the market place.

If not for the large scale of upside the GF members brought to the table this type of business treatment would never fly in the real world.

I realize change happens.

But at the same time change doesn't have to hurt good people who spent many many many hours of their life joining with others sharing ideas that paved the way to where this place stands in the market place today.
