My understanding is that the 2nd plane purchased is the one being painted and that corresponds to the flightaware trip route yesterday.

The first plane is still in Malasia, not sure if they intend on using it for parts or continuing with the repairs. My understanding was that it was getting very expensive and taking to long, so they got the 2nd plane to speed up the process.

Again, the 2nd plane purchased is the one being painted. Check flightawre for the two tail numbers and you should see that the one is still in Malasia and plane #2 is in Victoryville.
