B) Dunno if you heard, but AMD had some marketshare gains against Intel last qtr.



Dunno if you heard but AMD gained unit market share but lost
revenue market share to Intel. Intel's ASP went up while AMD's
ASP fell.

So yeah AMD joined the parade last quarter. Too bad it was as
the guy who follows the elephant with a shovel and pail.



Yet AMD swung to profit this qtr, making more money overall by selling more chips at lower prices.

Forgive me for not slitting my wrists in despair.
