PT: If had to guess, I would say they don't have one. Instead, they probably purchased a set amount from a third party provider who doesn't want to bother with the small fish that would be attracted to a monthly contract. They hike up the rate and make money between the their cost and what they charge to the small users.
The trick is to get enough small fish to pay for the contract they signed.
What I have learned about evaluating N, is always look at them as nothing more than a reseller of other companies services.
Now that it not a bad thing, the above is typical in the telecom space. The only bad thing, if true, would be they market themselves to stockholders as owning all this tech.
