VERY simple.. the stock went up because people got snowed into believing that PDOS owned the film.. all the way up to a few short days before the opening, at which point the investors started to become more aware and do some DD..

when share holders found out the stock was at this point worthless. (my opinion)

They sold in massive fasion.

HEY!! PDOS HAS A HUGE BLOCKBUSTER COMING OUT...mass buying ensued.

HEY!!... wait a sec they sold the film in 1997 to Dreamworks..

Mass selling ensues.. on top of short selling= huge tank in pps.

and it aint just tanking cuz of box office.. look at the chart its started tanking heavily last week. the box office part is a very minor detail to the mass exodus
