Believe you are wrong there B9. It is not the date of Aug 2 or any missed payments. It is the symbolism that our leadership can not and will not work to get something together before that date. Oh have no doubt they will do something, but at this late date it will be just a patchwork of bs and nonsense. Just another reason for the world to grow even more skeptical at our ability to lead the world. We can not even lead ourselves. They all better hope that Big O does not invoke the 14th amendment and raise the debt ceiling under the authority he has. Yes it would be political suicide, but at this late stage I believe he knows he has no chance a reelection.
