Haven't stopped in for a while; looks like most of the longs have found other ways to communicate. Not much new information from either side, just rehashing and still no verification only speculation by both sides, but some great questions have been brought up by some. Does anyone really know what is happening, I think not, I would be curious to know if Val knows for sure, anyway he seems to be too busy to share? Hopefully that is a good thing for the longs and he just isn’t spending all of his time cleaning up the dashboard on his suburban, those gum wrappers can be messy.
MDGC seems to indicate that they have many irons in the fire but really what can a one man show do? IMO all he needs to do is work on supplying network connections (middle and last mile), be a network provider using the old crusty technology and the archaic equipment from Wytec. Maybe someone or entity has been improving on it over the years? Wasn’t there something about a new high speed processor being developed? Kid also brought up some interesting speculation that might have some merit regarding the equipment. There have been some new developments with LightSquared and Sprint but nothing that indicates MDGC is involved but didn’t Wilson have some email from LightSquared indicating MDGC was a provider? Hard to say if that was fact or not because another poster indicated that they have emails indicating false information regarding Ubiquiti/Ubiquity and Mesh but they have not provided any documentation, still only speculation. Ubiquiti is still listed on the Mesh site, interesting. Then there’s the rumors about going to South/Latin America, interesting point is that there is also a current satellite company that has a presence in that region and one of our peeps seems to have close ties to them. Did I also mention that this satellite company also has coverage in Africa? Then there is the China Dragon connection which who knows if that will every happen. Then there’s the connection with Cogent. All this speculation would indicate a world presence, but unfortunately it can’t be confirmed or disproved. Val??? What’s the saying about if it seems to be too good to be true, it usually is? Val we need you!!!
I know what you’re thinking, as I am, that is still a lot for a vacuum cleaner salesman to do by himself. IMO here is the beauty of all this. Val doesn’t have to do anything because Mesh will do all the heavy lifting so the concern that the longs have is how that will benefit MDGC and our stock price? Excellent question and until we get some clarification from Val we won’t know. Mesh seems to be the one with all the potential but MDGC has the patents and equipment, but are they worth anything, Mesh seems to think so and as it seems so do other vendors and large investors. Sorry large investors are only my wishful thinking.
This has a lot of drama to it so maybe MDGC could do a reality show using HEXA2 technology, sounds like big bucks there. The point that all longs need to remember is that “bandwidth” and “speed” is the Holy Grail for all future application and device development. Without them innovation will be stagnant. The current infrastructure is not adequate for the future needs and if you did your DD you know what MDGC potential is, but can they make it happen? Nobody knows because nobody is talking, or are they? HMMMM…..last week’s action seems to bring promise, but is it just a dead cat bounce or is the weatherman wrong again and it is changing for the better?
This is all so curious and being a long with a large bag I am going to ride this one out besides I’m a strong guy so I don’t mind holding the bag.
