That phrase is probably just somthing some analyst picked up on, since all the tranies have to run faster (more heat) to lift the speed.
As far as what parameters are traded off between agressive and not so agressive probably would get into propriatary teritory. But, since faster means faster transistors (given the architecture stays the same). Trying to narrow it down, higher voltage is likely going to push the transistors to switch faster.
