You have to understand how it works. Platinum is a small pup. When they sold the rights, it was many years ago. They wanted the foot in the door..IMO. You also have to understand that keeping the Merchandising rights is HUGE! A lot of companies sell those too and therefore just get a one time fee up front. Remember, Rosenberg sole Men In Black too. Look at all of the merchandise that was sold for that one. Same here. Merchandise is the way to go because that's royalties FOREVER!
