Are there links to what happens to stocks listed on the Russell 2000. I mean to say, if GTE gets on the Russell 2000 then will certain funds be forced to buy for their funds? Or if there are no funds like that, then what is the expectation that funds or others will begin to trade in GTE after listing on the Russell 2000.

I am trying to get a real understanding on whether there is hype to being listed or is it more that GTE now has become a respected stock with the label of Russell 2000.

I hope there can be a healthy discussion of this potential event.
