Michael Matvieshen, Chairman

Mr. Matvieshen is the founder Chairman and CEO, of Sunlogics. Prior to Sunlogics he was the founder CEO of EPOD Solar, a Canadian company that built solar parks in Germany. Mr. Matvieshen has been an entrepreneur inventor and technology developer in various energy related companies for the past 20 years. He has also been involved in land development and commercial building construction as an investor/owner/developer and has managed large real estate projects.

Joost Schellens, Director

Mr. Schellens is a partner and co-founder of the Atlas Global group. He has a long track record of investing at GLG Partners LP, Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group and Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Private Equity Fund. He is a Board member of Sunlogics Plc and Infinia Corporation. Mr. Schellens holds a Masters in Finance from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.

John Small, Director

Mr. Small has 19 years of experience in portfolio management and investment research. He joined GLG Inc. in 2000 as a Portfolio Manager for Telecom, Media and Technology Investments. He has added Renewable Energy to his coverage and manages both publicly traded and private investments. His assets under management are in excess of $300mm. Prior to joining GLG, Mr. Small was an Equity Analyst, specializing in Telecom and Media companies for Ulysses Management and an Equity Analyst for Telecom stocks with Odyssey Partners. After graduating from Cornell University with a BA in Economics and International Relations, he started his career on the sell-side working at Dillon Read and Morgan Stanley as an Equity Research Analyst following Aerospace/Defense, Biotechnology, Telecom Equipment, and Industrial Conglomerate companies. Mr. Small serves on the board of directors of privately held Payease, Sunlogics, Infinia Corp, and Loyalty Alliance. He is also responsible for GLG’s private investments in Nanosolar, Abound Solar, Glam Media, and The Weinstein Company.

Jack DeLiddo, Director

Mr. DeLiddo pioneered large commercial roof mount photovoltaic systems along with his patent pending Velcro attachment system. He has created an exclusive solar roof lease program that uniquely combines patented roofing protection and renewable energy generation. Mr. DeLiddo has established a long-term relationship with GM over the years, resulting in the completion of the world’s largest rooftop solar photovoltaic power installation to GM’s plant in Figueruelas, Zaragoza, Spain; covering about 2 million square feet of roof with about 85,000 solar panels.

Charles L. Bryant Jr., Director

After graduating from California State University in 1977, Mr. Bryant founded CL Bryant, Inc., petroleum distributors. In 1978 they had six employees and sales of $4 million. By 2005, CL Bryant with multiple branch operations, had become the number one seller of 76 lubricants and 76 NASCAR racing gasoline in the US, with 150 employees and over $250 million in annual sales. The business was sold in May of 2006. Mr. Bryant is currently involved in multiple businesses, helping others fulfill their dreams. He has served for six years as Executive Director of the Pinnacle Forum, Modesto.

David Kay, Director

Mr. Kay is a Research Analyst at Tenor Capital Management, a fundamental research based investment manager. He joined Tenor October 2009. Previously, he was a Senior Associate in the Restructuring and Recapitalization Group at Jefferies & Company, responsible for analyzing and facilitating corporate restructurings, with emphasis on advising corporate clients and their creditors in large, multifaceted transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Kay worked at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as an attorney in the Financial Restructuring Group and focused on advising creditors’ committees and bondholder committees in complex corporate restructurings, both out of court and in Chapter 11. During the summer of 2004, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Denise Cote, a federal judge in the Southern District of New York. Mr. Kay graduated from Fordham University School of Law with a J.D. with honors, and from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A

Satpal Sidhu, President

Mr. Sidhu is President of Sunlogics Inc. and was Chief Operating Officer with Epod Solar since 2008. He has over 30 years of professional experience in management of complex industrial operations, construction projects, and enterprise management. In 2005, he received a Fulbright Scholarship grant for workforce training research in developing countries. Mr. Sidhu was the Dean at Bellingham Technical College for 6 years. Mr. Sidhu is a licensed engineer with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Lou Pellatiro, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Pellatiro joins Sunlogics after 35 years of extensive manufacturing experience at General Motors. He held leadership positions in Manufacturing and Facilities Engineering, Maintenance, Paint Shop Manufacturing, and New Model Launch Programs at several GM Plants. Mr. Pellatiro has recently been responsible for the Energy Reductions, In-House Utility Generation, and Renewable Energy Projects for GM North America. He has extensive successful experience in large-scale project management. He was part of the team who developed the Green Zone Concept and several large scale Solar Projects. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering with an Electrical Engineering Minor, and an MS of Management from GMI (Kettering University).

Tom Werthan, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Werthan has twenty-five plus years experience assisting high technology growth companies in financial and operational capacities. Mr. Werthan has thorough knowledge of operational, audit, general management, and manufacturing disciplines in addition to Big Four public accounting/auditing experience. He has both public and private company experience including complete IPO process. From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Werthan held the position of Chief Executive Officer at New Millennium Solar Equipment Corp. (formerly, EPV Solar, Inc.), a leading developer of a-Si manufacturing equipment and solar panels. From 2007 to 2009 he was the Chief Financial Officer of EPV Solar, Inc. From 1992 until 2007, Mr. Werthan served as Chief Financial Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors of EMCORE Corporation, a provider of components for telecommunications and solar power products. Mr. Werthan has a BS/BA degree in accounting from Boston University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Howard Brodie, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer

Mr. Brodie joins Sunlogics from New Millennium Solar Equipment Corp. (formerly, EPV Solar, Inc.), a leading developer of a-Si solar module manufacturing equipment and a-Si solar products, where he held the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Mr. Brodie brings his 15 years of international transactional experience focused on corporate finance; capital markets transactions, mergers & acquisitions, solar energy, solar project finance, intellectual property, joint ventures, and complex commercial agreements. From August 1999 until May 2007, Mr. Brodie served as Executive Vice-President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of EMCORE Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed provider of components for telecommunications and solar power products. From September 1995 until August 1999, Mr. Brodie was with the law firm of White & Case, LLP, where he practiced corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Brodie holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and clerked for Chief Judge Gilbert S. Merritt on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
