Ok, let's put the GOIG/SAVW thing into perspective. GoIP was an attempt to bring the Go800 text-to-call service to market. It is a nice concept, and it may still actually happen ("may" being the operative word), but SavWatt is a completely different company. Let's compare, shall we?

GOIG has an intangible service that, although unique and very helpful in eliminating the need for memorizing phone numbers, is not readily understandable by potential customers/users.

SAVW has a whole slew of tangible products (LED lighting) that are either made or assembled in the U.S., that qualify for the Buy American program, are being subsidized by billions in government subsidy funds, and the worldwide LED market has already begun to replace the $100 Billion per year lighting industry.

This is not to say that intangible, intellectual property such as that of GOIG is not valuable. As a matter of fact, intellectual property is probably the most valuable kind on earth (think Microsoft, Oracle, etc), but if you can't get your potential customers to see the value in your product, you just won't make many sales.

This is definitely NOT the case with SavWatt. The LED market is about to ramp-up tremendously as not only government agencies will be REQUIRED to use LED's, but private corporations are being given huge tax incentives to replace their existing incandescent and fluorescent lights with LED's.

Right now, on the West Coast, there is a private equity firm investing tens of millions in LED start-ups, and one of those start-ups hasn't even finished developing their first bulb yet (it's due to come to market in September, I believe). This is funny to me. The West Coast, which has less than 10% of the lighting as the East Coast (Google "night image of united states from space" and you'll see what I mean) is garnering deep pocket investments for products that will SOON come to market, and here we sometimes find ourselves debating whether SavWatt, on the East Coast, with literally billions of sockets in need of LED replacement, will be able to get a contract!

The Marketing Director and the CEO both have connections, both politically and commercially, in the Green Energy fields. The White House is sending the Chair of the CEQ to speak at SavWatt's Grand Opening.

Really?!? Does anyone REALLY think selling American assembled LED's, using CREE and Bridgelux components, is going to be difficult?

They will sell them by the tens of thousands, leading to revenue in the hundreds of millions.

Oh, did I forget to mention the hundreds of millions of streetlights and the endless remote locations around the world where the Eco-Pole would actually be LESS EXPENSIVE than pulling electrical wire to the site?
