I’ve heard these tales of Zoroastrianism before. Zoroastrianism is just another religion that spun off from the original religion given of Adam, reaffirmed to Moshe, etc. Tales akin to citing brown water as the source of crystal clear water [after brown dye was added].

As for pre-exile Judaism having a more tolerant perspective, follow the thread of Ha Satan through and see what his determined end will be. Notice, he [Satan] was not included in the group of “ben ha-elohim” (sons of God) in Job 1:6, but instead he [Satan] came in among them. Accordingly, he [Satan] was already an outsider BEFORE he [Satan] incited God to ruin Job without reason (Job 2:3). Also, he was so named (Ha Satan = accuser) BEFORE inciting God to ruin Job without reason.

A word study on Hell and related words through from Tenach through Brit Chadasha is telling. Yahshua spoke of Hell more than any other individual in the Bible. You can’t pick and choose which of His saying’s you’ll follow. Doing so destroys credibility. It’s all or nothing.
