Well yes I am in the DR. I was in Sosua at night and back n forth to Santiago and San Fransisco de Macoris during the day.

I never found the slot parlor. I was told it was near the hospital in Puerto plata, but never saw it. Could be there who knows, I stopped wasting time during my days looking for it since it is not the most important thing to my investment in CGAQ.

Although I must say the casino is functioning well, and the after one disco is the #1 late night bar in the area. Packed after the others close and plenty of people inside along with great security.

The casino is nice and the majority of the workers there are really nice. Although the manager who runs the place is in my opinion "Pathetic" he should be working in the Hotel across the street parking cars, because those guys there are also very disrespectful to Americans visiting.

I spoke with him requesting information. He would not give me any info that I was seeking like the LOCATION of the slot parlor. I did call Steven when I was on the way to the DR and when I was there all calls went to voice mail. I told the manager why I was there and played black jack three nights there with some friends. [color=red] The extremely disappointing thing that I learned today is that when I was there last night, so was Steven.[/color]
Since we do not know each other I wouldn't expect him to walk up and talk to people playing, BUT I WOULD EXPECT A GOOD MANAGER TO LET HIM KNOW THAT I WAS THERE.

A retired local from the US told me he was there last night at the bar when we were playing blackjack. Of course he would have introduced me if he knew I wanted to meet him etc.......

SO go CGAQ!!!! the casino is doing well, the bar is great, lets get some info on the slot parlor, and it looks like the boxing/race track is going forward.

If anyone happens to go down I would recommend staying anywhere but Sosua Bay Hotel!!!!
