Sagent Pharma launches generic form of Levaquin

On Thursday July 7, 2011, 4:07 pm EDT

Sagent Pharmaceuticals announced the launch of levofloxacin injection in 5% dextrose, the generic form of the antibacterial Levaquin, in three ready-to-use premix bag strengths. According to 2010 IMS data, the U.S. market for levofloxacin approximated $156M.
