Nice find Jack. I'd be very interested in seeing a movie about a Chinese superman, where the character, culture, and values are Chinese.

As Americans we may think there is only way to do superheroes and villains. But think about how globally popular are Chinese martial arts films.

Martial arts heroes in live action films are already doing superhuman feats. So it really should not be too difficult to create a superhero that combines the legacy of martial arts with Chinese cultural values of community and values that normal Chinese people can relate to.

But if Magic Storm Entertainment, in consultation with experts in Chinese culture and film-making, can put out its first film and it becomes popular in China and other Asian countries, it not only will net POWN and its partners gobs of money, but it will set the stage for an entirely new market of genre film.

If they get this right, we can truly say without exaggeration: POW, to da moon.
