Login Timeout?

Is there a login timeout for inactivity? I was in the middle of composing a message when I got interrupted. When I returned 10-15 minutes later, window was as I left it. When I clicked "submit post", I got no error message but at the bottom of the page it indicated I was logged in as "guest". I used back arrow on browser to verify I had logged in.

If you are logging people out, it would be nice to alert them when that happens, or is about to happen.

If not, I've been victimized by a fluke!
