But seriously, I don't understand options at all myself. All I know is that starting a few days before expiration week, QQQ tends to move toward whatever its Max Pain number is.
Why?
I don't know.
I just concentrate on the fact that QQQ is really NDX (divided by 40.xx) so if QQQ is above "pain" NDX will want to go down, and if QQQ is below "pain" NDX will want to go up. And COMP tends to follow NDX, and like that there.
