What broker are you with? I use Zecco and TD Ameritrade. The only reason I have 2 brokers is I like TDs tools and mobile app (iStockmanager). I use Zecco to trade since their commissions are cheaper but their web interface and mobile apps suck.

What I did was just bought a small amount of stock to hold long with TD just to keep my account active so I can use their stuff lol. I use Zecco for all my trades for $5 per trade and my orders get filled immediately (unless I'm bid sitting).

It also depends on your phone. The iHub app for iphone does a really good job and doesn't have too many bugs but, obviously you can't trade from it.
