That gap down followed by rising through the say I've always attributed to the makers shaking the trees for anyone with a tight stop loss. Remember in the OTC market those are triggered by the bid not an actual sale. Push it down and trigger the pseudo-stops to gather up shares you can resell later that day for a larger spread.
I see this so much in penny stock play that I've learned to keep any stops very loose if I use them at all. Especially for market opening.
This is a volatile stock so if you're not comfortable with that then you should buy Apple or maybe P&G s even on a good day it will often be a roller coaster.
