Some people do keep their cell phones for years. At least back when they made them to last. They might not have cameras. I work with someone right now who has an old phone without a camera. If you don't need it then why pay for it?

If people are just looking at a distance then I doubt a camera phone or disposable camera would even work well. You make it sound like they can throw a rock and be able to hit a truck. They would probably take the picture and it would be like bigfoot and you would probably say it is fake or not real.

If someone really is going just to look for themselves then it would be completely understandable that they wouldn't think of taking pictures for EVERYBODY else. I probably wouldn't have thought of taking a picture if I was just driving by to see the mine.

So for everyone who thinks they might see the mine make sure you go out and buy a $1000+ camera with night vision and amazing zooming capability so the next time you go out to see the mine you can take a nice picture and carhauler won't have a hissy fit!
