Hi SLCtrader...

It sounds like you may be using the wrong online broker...

If you're paying too much in commissions...

I use Scottrade for penny stocks...

$7. per trade with 1/2 of one percent of the total money spent...

If you're looking for a better broker, there are a few boards here on IHUB for you to look at...
