here is a story to reinforce the patience point....

i had a bank stock that went way down due to the very poor economy in Hawaii...this bank was well run, was successful prior to the bank problems of several years ago.

...I bought the stock at $1.54 and waited and waited and waited....

there were slight improvements made and and restructuring went on....they had some SEC issues and closed some offices, etc..

After 18 months, i finally got tired of having my money tied up.. and it was Christmas, so I sold the stock, made a little money, but figured it was time to move on....

.49 days later (we all know where this is going) the stock was trading at $30.00 per share.....

.The moral of the story "If you believe in a stock and you are confident in your DD..you have got to show patience and let the entire play develop
