Oh, and if you had malpractice and insurance contracts, association guidelines, and such, you'd be watching the fine print yourself! Physcians in this country have to be half lawyers in order just to get by.
The shabby nature of MDFI pricing is just another example of how costs are hidden from patients. Reasonable and professional physicians and health care providers will avoid pointing their patients at something that will frustrate or upset them (which is why, at my practice, we spend time to understand each insurance plan to help them navigate at reduced cost and why I dont take on every insurance carrier that approaches my practice).
You might find it funny, but I find it tragic that there is not more focus on the patient from this firm that is supposedly patient-centric. I think they are just Hauser-centric.
MDFI - put out a monthly pricing plan that is all-inclusive, and which represents real value for the patient; stop hiding behind fancy web graphics and asterisks as if you are actually making progress.
