Which firm said that? I know that VEKEN USA wasn't happy with ABAT but that was a couple years ago.

It does seem that ABAT'S sales volume is low outside China. For example the reviews are from more than 1 year ago. On that website no one has written anything since.

I have heard the most popular scooter brand in Taiwan is Yamaha. When I was in Taiwan many years ago, scooters were everywhere, much much much more common than in the US. However at that time I was never interested in scooters and didn't bother to check the brands there.
