Internal debts that the government is too scared to not pay! Listen, we either default, can't pay, or print money to fund our liabilities which debases the currency. I do agree that most of our debt is internal but so many people rely on it for food, rent, health care, income etc. The current leaders DO NOT want to piss the people off. They don't want to be considered the destroyers. Most Americans are too stupid to realize the crisis was many years in the making. Again, we are either going to default or hyper-inflate.
