Ldcfo, perhaps a much less mundane use would be for sports shoes soles and heels and soles of regular shoes.

There might be a market for kryronized tires in the $60,000+ luxury car market. Or for heavy machinery tires.

Or as Tnyellow said for those who desire the extra secure of not having to change tires due to slashing or road obstacles.
