Maybe i should talk to my accountant but is it true that short term stock gains are not taxable if you leave them in the market? IE make 20K on a stock, sell then take that same 20 and reinvest in another stock that pays divys you only pay tax on divys if you dont reinvest right? cause at the end of the year your buys "match" you sells even tho you "made" assests... as long as you dont carry cash in your account over the new year you are fine right?
