Called DTCC and Transfer Agent.

I called First American Stock Transfer, Inc. and told them what I was told by e-trade which is that I could not buy or sell because SFIO did not have a T.A. They stated that SFIO is in fact currently a client. The rep told me that they have been getting many calls from shareholders and have relayed the same info to everyone. He also said that we should be all good as soon as the prior CEO's legal matter was done away with. I said that I had heard he already pled guilty (i think i heard that) and he then said "Oh, then this may take care of itself pretty quickly" Who knows...Not sure why e-trade told me that bullsh!t.

I then called the DTCC Customer Service 1.888.382.2721 (U.S. and Canada)option 4 then option 1. (that's what a voice recording told me to press for urgent matters) My first call was "disconnected" after explaining the situation, so I called back.

I explained what e-trade told me and then what the T.A. told me and the guy stated that e-trade gave me wrong info and that e-trade should know whats going on. He said specifically "You pay them to do a job, call them back and make them do it. It's not fair to you". He then said call e-trade and give them the number that I called so that they can be brought up to speed and they can then give me the right info as he is not allowed to tell me certain things. I told him about being able to trade SFIO through other brokerages and he again said call e-trade and have them call the DTCC. I probably could have gotten more out of him, but my 3 week old son needed my immediate attention.

Again not saying this is what's going on, this is just what happened when I called the T.A. and the DTCC.
