Those of you that have been with the company for a long time will know me as Taz.I read that someone said that the Fishers were using new technology.Deep Blue was using that same technology long before the Fishers.Billy,Tammy and I sidescanned the whole Woman Key site with the same system and also was one of the first to try a sub-bottom profiling system for the use in underwater treasure hunting.After working for Deep Blue, I begin teaching the use of sidescans at the Florida Keys Community College using the Marine Sconic sidescans and Rovs in body recoveries and underwater explosives for Port Security, Public Safety dive teams and the Army Corp of Engineers. So you have to give Deep Blue credit, they were way ahead of the Fishers on the use of Marine Sonic Sidescans.I have also used the Marine Sconic sidescan in deep water 300+ and it works very well.
