The best thing about this tale from the pinkie crypt is that it is a pure avarice play. There's no baloney, no movies that will never be made, used cars that will never be sold, or diamonds that will never be found (or even sought).

"Market integrity must be preserved!" (translation: "Make me rich!") is as close to a head fake as you'll see here.
