He got caught by entrapment yep. IMO entrapment is illegal

There's a legal remedy to entrapment. He's not fighting it. Why was he advised not to?

However, if a suspect is already manufacturing drugs and police pose as buyers to catch him, then entrapment usually has not occurred.
