When you say "checked" do you mean they take them from you while you are in the courthouse?

You enter from main street up the steps, door on the right (North) You are now in a little encloses area. Put all hand devices through a little window into a large envelope with a number. Then you go through the metal detector. Proceed down the hall to the Southeast building elevators. Go up to the 3rd? floor, Thurman's courtroom is just out the elevator door 45 degrees to the right.

Now if there is a break in the case, you can go downstairs, check out your device, use it, put it back in the bag and return to the courtroom.

Parking used to be free across the street South. On my last trip they closed the parking there to passes only. Parking was a bummer. May have to use a paid lot. Leave plenty of time.
