Can't blame you a bit for feeling frustrated Homer. I wish I had answers to all your questions (I Don't) but I do think you have hit on the top two issues: Dean and the FDA.

It's been well documented that Dean has lied to shareholders. His own arrogance caused him to greatly underestimate the FDA's accountability to thier own requirements, processes, and expectations. My assessment of Dean is that he may be technically brilliant but naive, if not immature, as a business leader. (the hangover party pics ruined his 'respectability' and the lies have erroded his 'credibility')

But I don't think Dean is the larger of the two challenges. The FDA continues to fall under strutiny from business and the US people. They are a corrupt government organization in chaos. They have transcended mere dysfunction, succeding in creating nothing less that a culture of maliscious and willful spite toward US business, entreprenuership, innovation, the US economy, and the people of the United States. They are the true wild card here since they have proven time and time again to be unpredicatable, callus, and obtuse in their interactions with those who desire simply to stimulate innovation and economic expansion.

Anyone and everyone here should be concerned, if not paranoid, about our upcoming interactions with the FDA. Write your congressman and/or representatives now to help ensure the DViS recieves fair consideration.
