Wi-LAN vs. HTC....Going to a Jury trial?

Thoughts from another investor......

Perhaps Wi-LAN wanted to isolate HTC and use them as a conduit to QCOM.

If Wi-LAN can push HTC to a jury verdict for treble damages on the handset value that this could pressure QCOM to take a Wi-LAN license or potetnially lose the HTC business.

QCOM likely would only cover the "chip value", not the "handset" value, in any setlement.
