You can't daytrade these pinkies. You have to hold some of them for months and years. My strategy is just to have a large number of them and sit back and some of them will have a nice run up but the majority will just fade away. I get ideas from all over but one good source is stocks that I have found is the pump and dump mailings I get all the time. Usually the promoter buys some shell and does a reverse merger. What usually happens is as long as the promoter is sending mailings, fake message board posts, emails, etc. the stock will tend to go up. But ultimately the promoter unloads his inventory and the stock plumments to the .0001 to .0003 range as the promotion stops. This step may take 6 months to a year. If you can get the stock in this range and are prepared to sit on it for a while it may have a last harrah and run up to 1 to 5 cents or more. This will have nothing to do with fundamentals and can occur for various reasons. One of the reasons it sometimes happens is that some of the promoters try to legitimize some of their naked short sells by actually covering the stock. Obviously this will happen to only a few of the stocks so you have to have a bunch of them and have millions of shares. One good run can yield substantial profits even when you factor in the cost of the vast majority of the stocks which will do nothing.
