Yes...I saw David Brooks in person at The Richmond Forum and although I don't always agree with him, he is an excellent speaker who sprinkled humor throughout his talk, just as he does in his weekly appearances with Dem columnist Mark Shields on PBS' NEWSHOUR.
In David Brooks' article cited here, Brooks makes an indisputable point - today's Repub party has been taken over by extremists and that will hurt the GOP with independent voters for many years to come.
