Perhaps they just want to maintain total control of the company being a family business, and owning all of the preferred allows them to do so. Maybe they also will stockpile commons and use those shares to make their bank. I cant imagine having like tens or hundreds of billions of shares out there. Theyd have to reserve split for sure.
