I have not worked with one no. It may get there eventually, as in, if all your students had one for example, I could see how it would make sense for you to, at least for the work part of things. For your personal use, well of course it's all up to personal preference. I guess the key for me is "most everything my laptop did". Well, an Ipad could not run the music production software I use, and even if it could, to have something a few grams lighter but with way less processing, upgrading capabilities etc, I just find it useless. Honestly, useless, and look how many units they have sold. So what do I know? I must be the definition of my idiot comment! :)
