Silver: Mid-Session Silver Market Report

September silver managed another new high for the move this morning and in the process, the silver market seemed to maintain a general focus on the prospect of an improving US economy. Apparently silver wasn't aggressively undermined by news of an increase in Mexican silver output for April versus year ago levels. In the end the silver market seemed to track the equity market and perhaps the market was also garnering some support from strength in the energy complex. However, as in the gold market, the silver market can hardly be expected to quickly rekindle inflationary expectations without noted gains in a host of commodities and perhaps even more evidence of growth in the US economy.
