Pavilion Energy Resources to Supply Accelerated Wind Turbines to Idaho Wind Farm

Pavilion Energy Resources (PVRE) has collaborated with LA Wind, an Idaho-based developer of wind farms, to deliver wind turbines worth $100 million for an accelerated wind farm. LA Wind has received a conditional use approval for the Idaho property to develop the wind farm and is now in the process of securing finances to construct the wind farm. The company approved the property in record time.





The Pavilion Energy’s proposed production plant in Idaho will produce 3-5MW accelerated wind turbines with jet speed and the proposed wind farm will become its anchor customer. The proposed plant’s capacity may be increased from one to two jet-speed turbines per week, as the joint venture senses demands from other developers of wind farms, who plan to shift from their existing turbines to accelerated turbines, which guarantee cost-effective generation of wind power from 8-10 cents per kWh to 3-4 cents per kWh. This is comparatively cheaper than any other fossil fuel.

PVRE expects the new development will pave the way for more international development opportunities. The Pavilion Energy will construct more accelerator turbine plants in various states, as part of its long-term strategic plans. PVRE and associates are also looking for opportunities in various offshore wind farms including the 1,100MW offshore project in New Jersey, which has plans to hook up to the Google-AWC grid.
