I love to have discussions with people. It's how I often learn new things and meet interesting people. However, having a discussion with a pessimist is just painful. They wanna see the negative in everything.

When your opinion is always negative about a stock then you are known as a basher. A basher only wants to move the PPS down so that it benefits them. A basher can show up each day to try and tear down a stock slowly, or they may pop in from time to time to highlight negative, turn neutrals into negatives and play down positives.

Also bashers spend countless time talking down a stock they do not own or worse yet a stock they supposedly own. Come on who in their right mind spends that much time on something they have no interest in? And who would spend time to tear down what they own? - The answer is simple understand their motive and you will understand their plan.

Lastly, even for the most seasoned traders it's good to remind our selves about basher. And for the newbies .. I say do your own research to verify what people say.

ps A basher should not be confused with a person giving constructive criticism.
