You get a better explanation? I've experienced the exact same thing with IRs and execs of dozens of public companies including listed ones. These people get hundreds of emails a day. Need to learn how to be respectful and professional then, wow, human beings will take the time to treat you like a human being after you treat them like one.

Fascinating concept, right?

Also keep your email pithy. War and Peace length emails nobody has time to read and tend to get ignored. That's just the way the business world works.
